The Jerome J. Bornstein Leadership Program is making a comeback in 2012, and the current group of 18 men and women offers a unique mix of youth and experience.

About the Bornstein Leadership Program

This Jewish Federation of Greater Orlando program, began in 1991 thanks to the vision of Roz Fuchs Schwartz. It is designed to create leaders in the Jewish community through a yearlong program of classes that address a variety of topics, including Jewish identity, leadership and Israel. Participants are generally in the 25-45 age range and have already demonstrated leadership potential.

2012 Class Members

Scott Abramson, Dara Blonde, Shoshana Buchanan, Lisa Geiger, Samantha Gotlib, Ben Grodin, Rebecca Kauffman, Alan (AJ) Kronenberg, Noreen Levitt, Brian Margolis, Scott Miller, Aaron Sherman, Matthew Sokoloff, Aaron Swiren, Samantha Taylor, Julie Varkonyi, and Miriam Varnagy.

Past graduates of the Bornstein Leadership Program have gone on to serve on boards and hold top leadership positions at many of Central Florida’s synagogues and Jewish agencies, as well as the Federation.
