• 3,500 Jews in Hungary received medical care and equipment
• 7 Affiliate Agencies were supported
• 200 Jewish Teens were able to participate in volunteer work through Beit Hamidrash
• 25,000 meals were served to low income seniors in Central Florida through the Federation’s Subsidized Meal Initiative
• 70 schools were given lectures by Holocaust survivors about their experiences
• 1 new 5,000 square foot Jewish Community Center was opened in South Orlando to accommodate the growing Jewish community
• 11,000 students examined the “cost of prejudice” with Holocaust Resource Center educators
• 50 older adults visited our sister city in Israel, Kiryat Motzkin through Federation’s Partnership 2000 program
• 86,000 meals were given to hungry individuals and families through the Pearlman Pantry
• 200 elderly Jews were served throughout 44 facilities in greater Orlando
• 300 young Jewish professionals were able to connect through Federation’s Or Hadash program
• 65 Jewish teens were connected to Israel through the Greater Orlando Summer Israel Experience (GOSIE) program
