Cardozo Legal Society

The Cardozo Legal Society offers attorneys, judges, law students/professors and those in related roles an opportunity to get involved with the Jewish community while creating long lasting relationships with colleagues.  The Society is named after distinguished Supreme Court Justice Benjamin Cardozo.  Programs include speakers, lunches and cross-marketing with other societies.

The Society encourages and strengthens community among society members, provides programming and public service opportunities for tikkun olam (repair of the world), and raises money for the local and overseas Jewish communities through the Federations’ annual campaigns.

Benefits of Membership
• Opportunities to make a difference with your dollars and time.
• Pride in supporting the local and global Jewish community.
• Networking and connecting with other professionals.
• Recognition in the community.

Periodically, the Society thanks members who make a gift at their respective Honor Roll level by listing their names, in the Heritage Jewish News and on the Jewish Federation’s Annual Report.  Names are also included in various Cardozo Legal Society communications throughout the year, recognizing members' generosity. (Members have the option to withhold their names from these communications.) If you are not currently listed in the Honor Roll but would like to be included in future publications, please contact the Jewish Federation at 407-645-5933.
